Holiday homes
The kitchen showcases a carefully orchestrated blend of tones and textures. Tall cabinetry in deep graphite facades contrasts with base cabinets and the island, both crafted in natural oak veneer with vertically grooved fronts — a signature motif seen throughout the home.
The countertop and island surface are made of Dekton Pietra Kode Grafite stone, chosen for its durability, tactile texture, and deep matte tone. Integrated Miele appliances provide high-end functionality while maintaining a seamless visual language. Internally, drawers and lift systems are fitted with Blum components, ensuring soft-close operation and long-term performance.
Every detail — from custom made cabinetry to LED-lit compartments and utensil organizers — merges practicality with craftsmanship, elevating the kitchen into a seamless architectural experience.

The kitchen island extends beyond its functional role — becoming a central hub for gathering and connection. A custom dining table is seamlessly integrated into the island, forming a continuous architectural volume.
Crafted from the same natural oak veneer as the base cabinetry, the tabletop creates a soft contrast with the darker stone countertop. This thoughtful blend of materials allows the transition between cooking and dining zones to feel effortless — supporting shared meals, conversation, and everyday rituals in one fluid space.
Seamlessly integrated into the tall cabinet composition, the full-height display unit combines several functional elements — wine glass storage, bottle shelving, and a temperature-controlled wine cooler — into one cohesive architectural feature.
Crafted in natural oak veneer and enclosed with a glass door, the cabinet includes precision-cut solid oak racks for stemware, open bottle storage in angled compartments, and a built-in wine fridge below. Integrated LED lighting subtly illuminates each zone, allowing materials and contents to stand out while contributing to the ambient mood of the kitchen-dining area.
All bathrooms continue the home’s material story with oak veneer cabinetry, clean-lined ceramic countertops with sinks custom made from the same ceramic material. Vertical LED lighting, also lighting, set into metal-framed mirrors, provides ambient illumination with functional clarity.
Four bedrooms — two of them ensuite — offer private, luxurious experiences.
The main ensuite bedroom features custom-built nightstands, full-height wardrobes, and integrated headboard niches — all crafted in matching finishes with soft ambient lighting throughout. A luxurious bathroom opens directly from the bedroom and includes a sculptural freestanding tub and a layered natural palette that extends the calm, cohesive atmosphere.
The secondary suite features a dedicated walk-in wardrobe with glass doors, integrated lighting, and open shelving. The transition between wardrobe, bedroom, and bathroom is seamless, underlining LHM’s ability to build flowing environments — not just rooms.
In the main ensuite, the wardrobes are seamlessly integrated from floor to ceiling, despite the natural sediment, typical of log constructions. Using innovative engineering solutions, LHM Interior achieved full-height integration within a shifting timber shell — delivering not only visual consistency but long-term functionality.
Lighting in this mountain retreat is not merely decorative — it is architectural. Integrated LED strips are seamlessly embedded into wardrobes, drawers, display cabinets, and even the custom headboard panels. Vertical lighting lines provide both visual rhythm and practical clarity, while motion-sensor systems add comfort to daily use.
The precision of lighting alignment — integrated within millimeter-calibrated cabinetry — ensures a cohesive visual language, where illumination enhances materiality rather than distracts from it.
In the main living room, a sculptural chandelier composed of luxurious handmade glass pendants from the Soap collection by Bomma creates a powerful spatial gesture. These molten-glass forms reflect and refract the surrounding mountain light, balancing organic softness with architectural weight.
Meanwhile, in the dining zone, a custom-designed lighting installation doubles as a suspended display shelf. Floating above the oak table, this black steel structure with integrated LED lighting anchors the space with its refined, almost gallery-like presence. It’s not just a luminaire — it’s a design centerpiece, tailored to the atmosphere of alpine hospitality.
