Bottom lists

There are four different ways to install plinth molding, each creating its own distinct character on the furniture.

  • Flush bottom list. The molding runs in a straight line with the furniture, providing a modern look.
  • Dutched inside bottom list. This is the most common molding for furniture, allowing you to stand closer as part of your feet can be placed under the cabinet.
  • Dutched outside bottom list. This molding creates a classic and exclusive look, suitable for most types of furniture. However, it is not recommended for kitchens as it poses problems for white goods placed in floor cabinets.
  • Floating bottom list. This is the latest method of using the molding, where it is placed below the furniture, giving the impression that the furniture is floating. The effect can be further enhanced by using LED lighting under the furniture.
